My name is  Cathy Horgan. I am in Room 121 at Starkey Elementary School.  For 20 years I have had the honor and privilege of teaching Special Education at Starkey Elementary. I simply LOVE my job.  Kerrville has been my home since 1968.  I graduated from Tivy High School and Schreiner University.

I have 3 grown children who also attended Starkey and graduated from Tivy High School.   My oldest son works in the oil fields of west Texas.  My daughter is currently in the U.S. Coast Guard and is pursuing a master's degree in Special Education.  My youngest son is pursuing a Ph.D. in Crop/Soil Science.  Two wonderful grand children are also a big part of my life.  

My goal is to develope strong relationships with my students and help them grow to their full potential.  I will do my best to support them academically and equip them to be lifelong learners.
