Hi! I am the school counselor at Tom Daniels Elementary. I have an Interdisciplinary degree from Tarleton State University and a Masters in School Counseling degree from Lamar University. I was a teacher for 23 years and this is my fifth year as a school counselor at Tom Daniels. As the school counselor, I work with all students in grades K-5. I provide guidance lessons in all classrooms that are designed to help students acquire age-appropriate knowledge and skills within the scope of the following content areas: self-confidence development, motivation to achieve, decision making, problem solving, interpersonal effectiveness, communication skills, cross-cultural effectiveness and responsibility. I also see students individually and in small groups as needed. I am here to support and help the students, parents and staff at Tom Daniels Elementary in any way I can so that each child can have a successful school year.
