Hello! My name is Carrie Curtis and I am so blessed to be a teacher at Peterson Middle School. I am teaching my passion- Social Studies.   I am from the small Texas town of Hico. I have my degree from Southwest Texas State University, which is known today as Texas State. I have been teaching for 24 years. I am married and have one son who attended KISD from kinder all the way through graduation from Tivy.  My family has lived in Kerrville for 22 years. This is my second year with KISD. When I am not teaching, I like to go places with my family  and work in my flower garden. I have a dog, Max and  and a cat named Gidget.
